Volunteer Spotlight: Michael Sterling

This special Volunteer Spotlight goes to Michael Sterling!

Michael is one of our devoted Raptor Cage Cleaning volunteers. An avid bird photographer, he was looking for more ways to help birds and satisfy his fascination… and lucky for us, he chose The Raptor Trust.

Even though it's hard work, Michael thinks it's a privilege to be in close proximity to these magnificent birds. His favorite bird is the fastest one on earth, the Peregrine Falcon! Being a raptor cage cleaner here means helping care for our permanent resident birds. One thing that surprised him was discovering all the differing personalities among the Raptor residents here at TRT.

Staff and fellow volunteers thank this talented photographer and world traveler for his dedication to this organization's mission.
