The Raptor Trust Education Center is open on select dates for Open House events! Come by to check out bird artifacts, see raptor eggs, nests, and anatomy up close, and learn more about these fantastic creatures.
You can also enjoy a private visit at the Education Center when you book an onsite program.
2024 Memorial Lecture
Each year, The Raptor Trust’s Len & Diane Soucy Memorial Fund presents an Annual Lecture. We are thrilled to announce this year’s speaker, an award winning, record setting ornithologist who has published six books, including three for National Geographic: Noah Strycker

Walk for Hawks
From fall through spring, our medical staff treats the most severe injuries we see all year. All funds raised during Walk for Hawks will support wild birds injured during the fall migration season. Learn how you can make a difference!

Join us for Fledglings and Families, a unique family event tailored for children aged 8-10 and their parents or guardians. The adventure begins with a classroom exploration featuring our animal artifact collection, where you'll uncover what sets raptors apart from other birds. This will be followed by our interactive migration activity, offering a hands-on experience of the challenges birds face during migration. After our activities, we welcome you to explore our aviary trail.

Crafternoon
Join us Saturday from 12 - 12:30 in our Vitarius Family Pavilion for another fun Crafternoon! Choose your favorite bird, and make a bird bracelet! This event will run rain or shine, if the weather is bad we will be in the education center instead!
No reservation needed. This event is free, however donations are appreciated.

TRT Education Open House
Local author and journalist Jim Wright will host an open house all about owls. We will highlight Jim’s new book, The Screech Owl Companion, and have plenty of cool owl touch table items, interactive displays, giveaways, and all you could ever want to know about New Jersey’s cutest owl. This is co-sponsored by The Nature Conservancy in New Jersey.
TRT Education Open House
Stockton Action Volunteers for the Environment will run an open house focused on common reasons for intake into our rehabilitation center. There will be informative displays, games, and tons of learning opportunities about how to live more harmoniously with your backyard birds.
