Barbara Franko

After getting acquainted with The Raptor Trust thanks to her bird-obsessed daughter Lauren, Patti Russell joined the board of trustees in 2016. Before retiring in 2017, Ms. Russell was Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global Fortune 300 medical technology company.

Ms. Russell is currently President of P. E. Russell, LLC, providing advisory, legal and mediation services on a variety of corporate compliance, employment, regulatory, investigation, business and ethics matters. She is a civil mediator in New Jersey, and an adjunct professor at Rutgers Business School and Rutgers Law School.

In addition to The Raptor Trust, Ms. Russell serves on the advisory board of Rutgers Law School Center for Corporate Law and Governance, the board of trustees of Act Now Foundation – Alzheimer’s Resource Center of New Jersey, and the bioethics committee of Overlook Medical Center, Atlantic Health Systems.
