Come celebrate the changing seasons, warmer weather, and our returning feathered friends with two open houses in our Education Center.
April 7th, 2024: Stockton Action Volunteers for the Environment will run an open house focused on common reasons for intake into our rehabilitation center. There will be informative displays, games, and tons of learning opportunities about how to live more harmoniously with your backyard birds.
April 14th, 2024: Local author and journalist Jim Wright will host an open house all about owls. We will highlight Jim’s new book, The Screech Owl Companion, and have plenty of cool owl touch table items, interactive displays, giveaways, and all you could ever want to know about New Jersey’s cutest owl. This is co-sponsored by The Nature Conservancy in New Jersey.
These events are fun for all ages and free, with no reservations required (donations are appreciated).

Come join us for a fun-filled afternoon painting with a professional artist while getting to meet one of The Raptor Trust’s resident birds! Let’s celebrate the magic that our feathered friends bring us by using them as our muse.
