Parry

NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL

Parry was found in a bush in Paramus and brought to the Trust by animal control. The bird had a luxated humerus that was not able to be stabilized. This left him without sustainable flight and made him non-releasable.

Saw-whet owls are a winter visitor in New Jersey. Saw-whets are strictly nocturnal and very rarely seen in the wild.
