Pearl

AMERICAN ROBIN

Pearl was given to us by a Di Conger, a rehabilitator in Maryland, who had received her as a nestling. She was fed a normal diet, however her feather pigmentation never developed. Although Pearl is a not a true albino, her color would make her extremely vulnerable to predators. It would not be safe for her to be released.

American Robins are an extremely common backyard bird, known for their rusty red breast.
